Thinking Tuesday: Changes in Spacetime

Fleeting change.
Already trees and plants have have lost their annual blossom and are moving into their next phase of change.
What this season brings to them is anyone’s guess. Some will steadily repeat their cycle of growth for years and for some, this will be the start of an inevitable decline that awaits is all. Such is life, fleeting beauty.

Already the ducklings have grown.

Only a few weeks ago, it seems, they just popped into this existence and their growth is something that we can observe and agree on as a truth.

Things pop into existence and repeat a circle of growth back out of this existence. That is a truth that we all observe, in everything.

There’s plenty of truths but we’re looking for the Planck length of truths here. Something that we can establish as a platform from which to observe all else.

A Planck truth. (*Nerd humour warning* It’s amazing… a Plank [Planck] is something we can stand on.) There’s plenty written already on Planck length of you want to understand what that is. But that’s not the discussion here. A nice way of putting it – A truth is something a cat and an octopus can agree on… paraphrasing Derek Sivers.

So back to the cycle of existence.

Rather than resisting this cycle of nature we need to accept it.

We interrupt nature all the time with our own turbulent wake. We can and do, do untold change. Some obvious, some not so obvious. Each crossing of paths, right down to the smallest particle imaginable, changes its environment, the area of space around it. If you can imagine the smallest particles, passing each’s path on a scale infinitely small perhaps never meeting or perhaps always creating a path until it runs out of energy.

Or it’s so far away from energy that it must stop and become dark matter binded beside its neighbour for perhaps infinity or until some cataclysmic event blows it into a state where it may once again take part in a rebirth or some kind of interaction with all other matter.

If you understand that. Then you can call all that matter and energy space. And you can measure all these events relative to something like our sun and call that time.

Time is the location of a piece of spaces within all the other space relative to a chosen point. Then when we’re talking about that we just in spacetime, or such are my deductions so far.

Given the observable lifecycles and the canvas we call spacetime, it’s just easy to refer to everything as nature. So we are part of naure.

Accepting is not giving in. Finding the wave of nature and using your intelligent experience of consciousness as a surfboard to ride the wave. You are of nature not in nature in the same way what you are never just ‘in’ traffic, you are the traffic. Traffic is a good example as it’s mainly resistance that causes it. When things flow there is no traffic.

  • Form a conceptual model of space time
  • Understand it is nature
  • Understand you are of it
  • Find the flow, it’s no coincidence that we detect things as waves.
  • Surf the infinite wave
  • The journey is your experience.
