#geomobDUB: an evening of map talks at The Digital Hub
HTC is attending Geomob Dublin on 22 October 2026, an evening of short talks on maps and geospatial work at The Digital Hub in Dublin 8.
Geomob is an event series and podcast for geospatial enthusiasts, meeting every few months in cities across Europe to talk about geoinnovation, whether for fun or profit. The Dublin edition, #geomobDUB, is on Thursday 22 October at iD8 Studio, Digital Depot, The Digital Hub, Roe Lane, The Liberties, Dublin 8.
The format is simple. Doors open at 18:00 and talks begin at 18:30. Each speaker has 10 to 15 minutes with slides, followed by two or three questions, and the discussion carries on afterwards over #geobeers paid for by the sponsors. Geomob Dublin is organised by Jenny Allen and Dermot McNally.
Why we're going: MapClick, our own software, starts from the map, where every point builds its own record over time. Talks on mapping, from GoPro telemetry to roadside infrastructure mapped with computer vision, are close to home for us. We are attending to listen and to meet Dublin's mapping community.
