AI and innovation in planning: an online CPD session from UrbanSight
HTC is attending AI & Innovation in Planning, a free online CPD event from UrbanSight on 14 October 2026 showing AI and planning technology tools.
On Wednesday 14 October, UrbanSight is running AI & Innovation in Planning, an online CPD event on Zoom from 11:00 to 12:30 Irish time. It is free to register on Luma.
UrbanSight's starting point is that AI is already inside planning workflows, changing how proposals are drafted, visualised and assessed, while most of the profession has not been given the tools to judge it critically. The session is a live online showcase of AI and planning technology tools, run with people who are building them, for planners, policymakers and anyone curious about where the profession is heading.
Why we're going: planning is one of the lenses in MapClick, our own software, which keeps one sourced record for each real place. Its Tir module sets out sales, listings and planning for an address in plain English, and runs in public on Swords Live in our own town. How planners judge new tools, and the data behind them, matters to us. We are attending to listen and learn.
