Mapclick turns ordinary data that relates to a physical point or object into a rich, evolving, multi-layered data structure that is much more like an organism than a spreadsheet. Points become self-aware using agentic abilities to understand themselves. It's much easier to understand something like traffic or a tree when you can simply talk to it.
Swords Live
The first live local public research environment built on Mapclick, applying live maps, local data and civic context to Swords, Co. Dublin. Swords Live continuously collects public data streams like transport, weather, air quality, trees, litter, planning, house sales, to name a few, and builds stories about each thing. You can actually talk to the trees in Swords.
